This photo is taken from our room and shows that we were literally beside the swimming pool and only about twenty yards from the waves. At night we left our balcony door open slightly and the sound of the waves was so loud that it drowned out our air conditioner. In fact, even with the patio door closed all that one could hear at night was the sound of the waves. Despite being in a busy built-up area, on a small piece of property with tons of traffic nearby, it was one of the quietest hotels at which I have ever stayed. Mind you, Francine and I were two of the youngest guests there - most seemed to be retirees in their sixties and seventies and they were even less "party animals" than us. There were no children staying at the hotel at all - it is not really set up to accomodate kids.
