Francine and I took two tours outside of Manzanillo. And I did a considerable amount of walking on the Las Hadas peninsula. What I concluded after all the sight seeing is that the prettiest - or at least the greenest and lushest - spot around is the golf course. This is because there is very little rain in the winter months in the Manzanillo area. In fact, they had not had rain since mid-October. So the only large area that was green was the golf course - because it is watered a great deal. This photo is taken of the rough between the first tee box and some condominium townhouses that line the first two holes.
