There are 14 day hiking trails along the Highway 60 corridor. Highway 60 cuts through the southern part of Algonquin Park. The trails are categorized by degree of difficulty into easy, moderate or difficult. The easy trails are short and flat. The difference between the moderate and difficult trails is not the length so much as the elevation changes - and in some instances the quality of the trail (i.e., smooth or rocky). The first trail we took was called Track and Tower.
