After dinner, there was the typical emcee who shouted gibberish in three languages into his microphone and made no sense or was funny in any of the languages. We had the inevitable contest to see whether Canadians, Americans or Mexicans can cheer the loudest. However, inasmuch as there were virtually no Americans or Mexicans there, Canada won easily. So, of course, we then had to see who was loudest: Vancouverites, Calagarians, Torontonians or Montrealers. Noise pollution is all it was.
