Manzanillo 2008
Read MoreThis is the 18th hole of the golf course, with Las Hotel in the background perched on the mountain or hills that run down to the bay in that particular area. In general, once away form the Las Hadas Bay, where there are three hotels and condominiums, that area of Mexico is not particularly colourful. Rather, it is rather dry, brown and somewhat dusty - due to the fact that they get virtuallly no rain in the winter time. In fact, they had had no rain since mid-October. Accordingly, the prettiest place is, essentially, the area around the hotels - due to the fact that they water and due to the architecture.
I do not mean to complain about the lack of rain. One is guaranteed of good weather on the Pacific side of Mexico. There is none of the humidity that one can experience in the Caribbean. We were never uncomfortably hot during our stay.
